Winch-Out in Alcoa
The Pellissippi approach over Fort Loudoun Lake has little room past the shoulder. If a car is off the pavement there, it is a winch-out. Say whether it is upright, and keep clear of where a cable would run.
Winch-Out on Alcoa roads
The Pellissippi approach over Fort Loudoun Lake has little room past the shoulder. If a car is off the pavement there, it is a winch-out. Say whether it is upright, and keep clear of where a cable would run.
Alcoa Highway is a divided, high-speed link used by airport traffic, Maryville commuters, and game-day drivers headed for Neyland Stadium. A stop on that shoulder is a poor place to stand. Get behind the guardrail if you can.
The Maryville line is close. If the vehicle is already on Lamar Alexander Parkway, the useful roads are Maryville's, not Hunt Road.
Say whether it is upright and how far it sits from the pavement. A recovery is quoted separately from a hook-and-go.
The Knoxville write-up of this job is on the winch-out page. The town overview is on the Alcoa towing page.
