Winch-Out on Karns roads

Side roads off Oak Ridge Highway drop toward Beaver Creek, and rain puts cars in the ditch. That is a winch-out. Give the distance from the pavement.

Oak Ridge Highway through Karns is a commuter road with short turn lanes into schools and stores. A flat in the through lane at rush hour needs the car as far right as it will roll.

Melton Hill Lake is the water west of Solway, between Karns and Oak Ridge. Stay with the highway name if you are still on SR-62. The lake roads are a different approach.
